The role will be ideal for someone who has a passion for content creation, excellent editing skills, strong production experience and is able to work to deadlines efficiently whilst delivering the best standard of work.

What We’re After
You are an experienced designer and image editor who is keen to maintain and develop our house style and quality with great attentional to detail.
The role by nature requires someone who can work to the high standards of quality that our reputation requires whilst being able to adapt quickly to requirements throughout the working day. This is an in-office role with opportunity to go out to creative meetings, pitches and to produce and assist on shoots where required.
We are looking for an exceptional designer and picture editor to join our close knit team to work with our existing clients to deliver the very best service.
Applicants must be self starters, have great ideas, a can-do attitude, work well under pressure and be able to grab this opportunity, which includes you being able to grow the team and manage it down the line.
Selecting, editing and optimising photos for online and print publishing including processing of all our jobs shot by our team of 25 freelance photographers.
Full image selection and editing of raw images taken by our senior in-house photographers
Maintain the quality and consistency of our output and make sure photographers' work is in keeping with Red Photographic house style and high standards - offering feedback and training to photographers where necessary.
Working with the sales team and account management team to direct creative output and help produce mood boards, story boards, proposals etc
Hiring, managing and training photographers in style and editing.
Creating bespoke printed event photo books using Adobe Indesign after each shoot, and creating internal photo books for marketing and sales purposes
Managing Red Photographic’s internal image library.
Assist across marketing – planning & activities as well as creating / designing new marketing material for the sales team.
Work with the marketing team to update the Red Photographic website with new photos and case studies.
Work with the marketing team to select and manage the distribution to clients of Red Photographic Picture of the Month – a monthly newsletter sent out to all clients and staff, praising the work of one of our photographers.
There are additional opportunities for training and honing skills, and exciting opportunities for assisting in shoots.
Key Experience and Skills Required
Advanced Adobe Suite skills to include Indesign, Photoshop,Lightroom (or any other photo processor such as capture one) and Illustrator.
Superb design and photo editing experience.
Full shoot production experience
Great organisational skills & attention to detail.
Team player; excellent at communicating effectively with clients and team members.
The ability to work well under pressure.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Highly motivated, hands on and with exceptional professional standards.
Knowledge in film editing and dealing with rushes
Hours and Location
9.00am – 6.00pm
Salary Between £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
