Junior Web Developer / Designer at Gamer Network

Gamer Network is looking for a talented Junior Web Developer / Designer to join our growing Technology & Design team.

The team will be working on new and exciting projects, maintaining and extending our existing popular, high-traffic websites, and supporting our global editorial, sales and events teams.

This is a genuinely hybrid developer / designer role where your instincts for great design and usability are just as important as your ability to realise those choices in code and prototypes.

Our ideal person:-
- Has a history of designing, implementing, and maintaining websites.
- Has a passion for creating functional design.
- Can express their ideas via wireframing and prototyping.
- Can justify their design / implementation decisions.
- Is articulate, friendly and approachable

We’re looking for people with the following skills:-
- Great written communication.
- A strong understanding of usability, interaction design and information architecture.
- The ability to hand-code HTML5, CSS, and Javascript to a high standard.
- Experience with responsive, mobile-first design
