Communications Intern at Stakeholder Democracy NetworkSDN is a non-profit organisation with over a decade’s experience in Niger Delta affairs and expertise in the environmental, social and economic issues impacting upon the region. This year we are going to bring this expertise to the surface, and we’re going to begin crafting an external presence which reflects the work we do. Through 2017 we are going to be leading international campaigns that will mirror important political processes, bringing awareness to issues ranging from oil spills, militancy all the way to supporting the people of the Niger Delta in the space of arts, culture and technology.
As our communications intern you will be working closely with our designer in planning and producing content for our campaigns and SDN channels. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated with a lot of creative energy as you’ll be heavily involved in not only producing the content for our campaigns, but also in building them from the ground up, and your input will be directly reflected in the timeline, look and tone of every campaign.
This role would suit a recent graduate, or someone who is still studying, or for anyone who has the right skill set looking to break into the design industry.
- Strong portfolio
- A highly enthusiastic and creative mind attracted to story telling
- Proficiency with Adobe CC in particular Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of video production and experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro would be an advantage
You’ll be with us for three months, and we're more than happy to be flexible with the working hours for the right candidate.
