Project Manager at YCNAt YCN we help our Members to learn and do new things together, and our new Project Manager will be central in delivering against this purpose — in plentiful ways.
Our Members are creatively minded people and organisations around the world from a design maestro like Michael Wolff, to rising illustrative star Alice Bowsher; from sportswear giant adidas to global crusader Greenpeace.
Our close-knit central team works daily alongside our members — understanding their objectives, and connecting them with the people, resources and opportunities to achieve them.
As a Project Manager in our central team, your days will be busy and varied. Within a week you might help a retailer source and commission the best creative talent for a new window display installation — negotiating fees, managing budgets and supporting with production; helping unearth subject experts to help lead workshops around persuasiveness with groups of Members at YCN or working alongside our partnerships team to identify and research new leads for sponsorship opportunities as part of projects in Amsterdam and Paris.
Additionally you’ll help build our ever growing picture of the best creative practitioners, studios and agencies working today.
As such we’re looking for a skill set that includes:
— Experience with creative production, fee negotiation and budget handling
— Superb written and verbal communications skills
— A love for creative business and consumer culture
— Insights into contemporary creative practitioners and leading creative agencies.
— A want to connect with people in person, spot new opportunities and make things happen.
You’ll need 1-2 years of experience in a comparable context, and salary will reflect this experience.
