Marketing Assistant at Sandows

Sandows specialises in cold brew coffee. Founded in 2014 by mates and baristas Luke Suddards & Hugh Duffie, Sandows has been the driving force in introducing the UK to ready-to-drink cold brew, a method of brewing coffee with cold water that draws out a smooth, delicious flavour. After three years we’re now stocked by Ocado, Whole Foods Market, Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason, Harvey Nichols, Ace Hotel, Soho House Group, Grind & Co. and independents nationwide.

Your role will be to ensure that Sandows has a prolific presence online and IRL. We have already built up a strong foundation for you to build on, but as employee number two you'll have a great opportunity to assert your style and personality on the brand in a meaningful way.

Working very closely with and reporting directly to co-founder Hugh, you will manage our marketing and creative output. You will be tremendously organised and able to understand the way that Sandows should feel, look and sound to our community. Beyond that, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and we’ll teach you our systems for any of the tricky sounding stuff. A driving licence would also be brilliant but isn’t essential.

The role will entail nailing down the following:

Social content output across all channels
• Instagram
• Instagram Story
• Facebook
• LinkedIn
• Twitter
• Email marketing
• Merch + Webshop (Bringing physicality to our community)

Creating and nurturing new and existing partnerships
Organise events
Constantly maintaining conversations with PRs and journalists

Compensation details

£25k per annum
25 days per year paid holiday (+ public holidays)
Employee share scheme buy-in available after 2 years

Our office is in Netil House, right by London Fields. There's unlimited cold brew on offer and inevitably loads of delicious hot coffee too.
