Designer - People Management Magazine at Haymarket Media GroupThe multi-award winning People Management magazine (including back-to-back wins of the prestigious BSME Cover of the Year award) are looking for an enthusiastic, driven designer to join their expanding team as they continue to grow the brand into new areas. Read by 134,000 people every month People Management is the official magazine of the CIPD and aims to challenge perceptions of HR and L&D through challenging thought-provoking articles using innovative graphic methods to engage the reader. The magazine has a 70% female readership, so you will be expected to draw inspiration from a wide variety of sources to help us to continue making People Management one of the most innovative and different business titles on the market.
We are after an enthusiastic, self-motivated designer who can take direction but is also able to come up with new creative editorial solutions to briefs. As well as working on the monthly title, the candidate will also contribute to the quarterly thought-leadership title ‘Work.’, which is aimed at senior executives and takes a more intellectual, art-driven approach to a similar subject matter. You would also be working on bespoke international editions of People Management and a variety of digital extensions to the brand.
As the CIPD brand continues to grow into other areas, this position could also provide a unique opportunity to expand into other digital platforms. The position would suit an exceptional designer with at least two years’ editorial experience who is keen to progress their career in a modern media environment with a forward-looking editorial team.
