PR & Marketing Manager at SCP

Working at the company headquarters in Shoreditch, this role is for an ambitious creative talent who can write and edit copy to tight deadlines, communicate with fluency across media platforms and who understands the nuances involved in branding, social media and press relations. The role will be responsible for all site content, ensuring it is up-to-date, refreshed constantly and is relevant to SCP customers. The PR & Marketing Manager also identifies improvements for the website, user journeys and functionality, plus reports on social, web sales, SEO plus user behaviour – using in-depth analysis to drive improvements.

Appreciation of good design and an overall technical aptitude should come as standard.

The role oversees and works with the Marketing Assistant and Marketing Executive on the team, by creating whip-smart copy for the website, planning, building and sending weekly newsletters, press releases and printed marketing materials. The successful candidate will also liaise directly with the press to arrange interviews, store loans and image requests. The role also works across the SCP retail, contracts and wholesale departments to ensure that suitable content is created for all facets of the company.

SCP is looking for someone to hit the ground running, they are able to work to fast-paced deadlines within a busy marketing calendar and manage all online content and SEO activity. Meanwhile, the successful candidate will be full of ideas and have great organisational skills – and who wants to be at the forefront of developing and delivering a creative communications strategy.


The person:

- A minimum of two years’ experience in a marketing, content, PR or similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
- Good knowledge of the design industry
- Good organisation and presentation skills
- An aptitude to work across different tasks
- Proven history of reporting and analysing SEO, social and web data
