Calling all print-obsessed graphic designers and travel lovers!

STA Travel has an exciting opportunity for a graphic designer to join their Brochure Production team as a Brochure Artworker.

This is a temporary contracted role from 1 June to mid-December 2017, with the potential to extend.

Reporting to the Brochure Production Manager, you will be responsible for the layout of pages within pre-designed templates for STA Travel’s suite of destination brochures (7 brochures). Working alongside the team’s Senior Brochure Artworker and Brochure Graphic Designer, as well as key members of the Global Land and Commercial teams, you will be responsible updating current design templates to accommodate new and altered product; input, check for and query pricing accurately and to deadline; utilise the company’s brand guidelines to select and position engaging, vibrant and on-brand images throughout the brochure; and provide graphic design and other visual imagery support at the highest level while consistently meeting demanding deadlines.

This role would suit a graphic designer or artworker with a graphic design degree (or similar equivalent). At least 1 year’s experience in either an in-house studio or design agency is essential, preferably working on large-scale print publications. You must be fluent in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, while a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is desirable.

- Willingness to work extra hours during particularly busy periods of production
- Good grasp of the English language, including spelling and punctuation
