Dalton Maag is recruiting for a middleweight to senior Graphic Designer to join the communications team at its studio in Brixton, South London. The role will report to the Operations Director, and work with the Communications Lead, Client Services Leads, Creative Directors, and Font Developers to deliver compelling and creative graphic design across all of Dalton Maag’s visual communication.

We’re seeking applications from graphic designers with at least 5 years’ experience who can help us to communicate the quality and diversity of our work. The successful applicant will work to highlight our distinctive value proposition in the market, helping us to reach, communicate with, and support our relationships with prospects and clients.

- The Graphic Designer is responsible for:
- Creating, reviewing, and repurposing graphic material for print, digital, presentation, promotion, and branding
- Creating and reviewing key templates for use across the organization
- Designing and typesetting key documents targeting digital, print, and presentation
- Maintaining a fresh, on-brand approach to the organization’s visual communication
- Researching and selecting effective imagery
- Working on commissioned pieces to a deadline; continuously reviewing templates and assets

- Have strong InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop skills
- Be very strong in template creation and exploitation
- Possess a good eye for typography and attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency
- Demonstrate an understanding of the needs and expectations of each audience, from designers to corporates
- Be comfortable working at different scales, from single image to trade show
- Exhibit a collaborative approach to projects
- Consistently take a creative, positive, flexible approach
- Be able to prioritize quickly and with agility as demands change
- Be able to assimilate briefs and feedback
- Have excellent communication skills, and excellent verbal and written English
- Possess a high level of commercial awareness

- Skills in photography and retouching
- Experience of animation and video editing
- Experience of product, booth, banner, and experiential design

Starting salary of £38,600 to £46,100 depending on level and experience; 40 hours per week; 32.5 days’ holiday per year including Bank and Statutory Holidays.
