Resident Advisor (RA) exists to support local scenes and connect the global electronic music community. Founded in 2001, we are staffed by 50, based in 6 offices around the world, and read by more than 3 million people a month.

We are looking for a talented and passionate web designer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a talented team of developers, journalists and designers in creating work for various project types that span all aspects of our platform. This includes all online services and mobile applications.

The successful candidate will have an extensive portfolio which demonstrates your professional experience with responsive design and UX/UI design and the following skills and experience:
- Expert with the Adobe Creative Suite
- HTML5 and CSS3 knowledge
- Experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- A good understanding of UX/UI
- Experience of responsive and mobile design
- Experience with cross-browser testing
- Experience with data visualisation

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with existing team of designers, sharing knowledge where necessary
- Develop creative solutions for layouts based site framework
- Support the editorial team in the visualisation and presentation of content
- Creative and technical design, across all RA platforms
- Work closely with engineering, product and data teams to ensure all designs deliver great UX
- Ensure designs provide an harmonious experience across desktop, mobile and tablet
- Ensure design projects are delivered on time and on brief
- Produce design collateral and website mock-ups for in-house projects and external pitches
- Liaise with internal teams to collect design briefs and ensure all work produced delivers objectives
- Contribute to design improvements of apps
