Creative Assistant Intern at Rankin Photography LtdRankin Photography and our creative agency The Full Service are looking for a Creative Assistant to support our Creative Team. This internship is a genuine opportunity to get involved in and gain experience in a busy, cutting edge agency environment.
Our internships are designed specifically to support those who have a genuine and demonstrable passion for working in advertising, but who have little professional experience or may not have had an opportunity to work professionally within these areas before.
The internships are for 6 months. They are paid at national living wage and are fulltime (40 hours per week). As such you need to hold the right to work in the UK.
Although no employment is guaranteed all interns who successfully complete their internship having proven they have the right aptitude will be kept in contact with regarding future opportunities. Typically talented interns are invited to join our Creative team in trainee and junior roles.
Ultimately, as with any opportunity, the more you put into the role the more you will get back!
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with a relevant degree who is hard working, a quick learner, conscientious and willing to get involved in a variety of tasks. What is most important is a can-do attitude and a strong drive for a career in advertising.
Reporting to the Senior team, Creative Interns will typically:
- Assist with pitch documents.
- Brainstorm ideas for campaigns and shoots ranging from stills, film and everything else.
- Find image and film references.
- Help prepare for shoots and assisting the creative team on the day.
- Design documents such as press releases, portfolios and treatments.
- An eye for detail
- Good sense of layout and typography
- Premiere pro
