My client are leaders in retail and experiential branding; they collaborate with only the exceptional. This team of 30 are currently looking for an Account Director.

Client and company focus:
- Partner clients to understand their business needs, issues, priorities and strategic levers
- Grow accounts not just projects – identify areas of opportunity and create new commercial opportunities on accounts.
- Achieve keen revenue/growth targets and forecasts and set those targets
- Develop the account strategy for specific clients and ensure this is consistently expressed through all activity and to teams working on the account
- Maintain relationships with key clients beyond and between projects; show confidence in proposing new ideas and leading clients’ thinking; bring a vision to life for the client
- Contributing to Client annual brand planning and strategy
- Financial responsibility and control; oversee forecasting, budgeting, growing revenue, minimising costs
- Defining the strategic direction of major briefs in conjunction with planning team. Developing the strategic and creative response. Striving to think laterally and exceed expectations
- Detailed knowledge of clients’ sector, brand and business objectives
- Mentor junior account team members

Business development:
- Support the business development team in qualifying and converting opportunities
- Run selected pitches to budget from resource through delivery, including crafting initial pitch response
- Answer client RFPs and organise required credentials material; manage junior accounts team members to assist
- Identify revenue opportunities and take these forward into scoping and closing

Account direction:
- Prepare, present and negotiate client estimates, proposals and tenders
- Contract negotiation
- Financial management of accounts including 3rd party negotiations and bought-in-cost estimates, expenses and invoicing
- Run accounts profitably and efficiently, keeping close to team on daily basis
- Excellent delivery including: effective presentation to client teams; shaping project content; meeting key milestones; avoidance or swift effective resolution of conflict; final project delivery
- Write clear, thought-provoking creative briefs, presentations and proposals
- Measure impact / success of projects: continually find ways of measuring and demonstrating how the value of our work is enhancing the client’s business and bring this to bear on project case studies
