Production Manager at ShootMediaOver the last few years we’ve grown into a unique organisation offering video-led content marketing and single-commission films which integrate with and enhance our clients’ existing marketing activities.
Our focus is on producing authentic, relevant content, which is trusted by audiences and always has our storytelling and filmmaking heritage at its core.
We have the privilege of working with some of the most influential brands and agencies in the world. Our films have won international accolades, ranging from Cannes Lions, LIA, and British Arrows awards, to recognition from the British Film Institute (BFI), who have chosen to intern several of our productions in the National Archive as examples of culturally relevant online content.
The Production Manager reports into the MD & Strategy Director. The mission of the Production Manager is to proactively ensure that the teams and projects are running as smoothly as they possibly can, whilst in line with the company's policies and goals.
The ideal candidate will be excited about a leadership role within a small but growing company and will take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects; ensuring that budgets and timescales are defined from the outset and monitored throughout.
The ShootMedia team is a small one and therefore the role spans across Operations & Production Management, including line managing and organising members of staff and freelancers. It’s essential that the Production Manager proactively manages the traffic in the studio/office and recognises and/or resolves any resource clashes before they arise.
We use Asana project management software, Harvest time tracking, Slack, G Suite, and Xero accounting so prior experience of these tools would be beneficial.
The ideal candidate is:
- High in integrity
- An excellent communicator
- Emotionally sensitive
- Driven to seek opportunities for themselves and the business
- Quick to make good decisions
- An opportunity creator
- Willing to contribute to improve and shape their workplace
