Ecommerce and Marketing Manager at Do Shop Ltd

We are a design furniture and lighting dealer, using our website as the main point of interaction with our customers. We are evolving the business in an exciting new direction and would like an ambitious Ecommerce and Marketing Manager to join us on this journey.

We are looking for someone with a strong graphic design background as well as experience in ecommerce and online marketing. Your time will be split between maintaining our website, managing online marketing initiatives and supporting the manager in developing the business. This role is perfect for you if you would like to leverage your skills to develop a growing business and become a key member of the team.

Key Responsibilities

Website management:
- Refreshing website content on a regular basis, with focus on images and graphic design elements
- Listing products, especially preparation of images
- Improving the features and functionalities of the website on an ongoing basis
- Improving the eshop user experience continuously, including the checkout process and customer communication

- Manage our social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest etc) with regular content updates
- Manage our online marketing initiatives, including Facebook campaigns and Google Adwords
- Managing our email newsletters programme
- Cultivate relationships with press contacts proactively (including regular supply of new product ideas) to maximise our press exposure

General support:
- Help to develop new features such as interior design visualisations
- Continue to strengthen our brand identity, including changing the appearance of our website
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the business

Skills and Qualities Required
- Proven experience in website and eshop management, preferably on Shopify
- Proven experience in online marketing and social media
- Proficient in graphic design software programmes, especially Photoshop and Illustrator
- Knowledge in basic web programming an advantage
- Highly creative with flair for visual presentation and graphic design
- Highly motivated, proactive, organised, flexible and good at multi-tasking
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- An interest in interior design – we want people around us who share our passion
