Design Intern at Red Stone

Red Stone is a dynamic and imaginative creative agency providing communications and design services to leading UK and international organisations. Our intern scheme gives opportunities to talented design graduates to gain valuable industry experience. Being an intern with us involves a number of activities including (but not restricted to) creating concepts and ideas, and being generally useful and involved around the studio. Our internships start with a fortnight trial, and if successful, then run for a further six weeks.

This exciting opportunity will allow you to work on high-profile projects, giving you interesting and varied experience. You’ll see how a fast-moving and expert design team works and gain experience that will equip you for the highly competitive design jobs market.

Experience you will gain in supporting the creative team typically includes:
- Learning new skills and approaches to creative work
- Discovering what’s involved in working with a creative team on long and short-term projects
- Taking a brief along with the designers
- Helping us crystallise ideas
- Presenting work in one of our creative catch-ups.

To be considered as an intern with us, you must have a graphic design qualification at BA (Hons) or equivalent experience. You must have a good hands-on experience of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop). Most of all you must have enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and good communication skills, both written and spoken. Interns at Red Stone are paid £300pw.
