Events & Community Manager at TearduskTeardusk is an arts organization and creative agency producing digital content and supporting young people to break into the creative industries. We work with people, brands and organizations creating world-changing campaigns & projects. We are building a creative community where we provide creators access to the latest news, events and opportunities within the arts.
We are currently on the look for a passionate, creative events and highly organised community manager to join our team. You should have a strong interest in the creative industries including film, technology and art. This role will be based in our beautiful offices in the heart of London, Tower Bridge. The position consists of a combination of remote and office based working with opportunities to be a part of international projects and travel.
In a nutshell your core responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Content creation:
Writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels
2. Social media marketing:
Creating, managing and growing the company’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online channels
3. Events and event planning:
Attending relavant industry events and planning/curating events and workshops for the Teardusk community
4. Public relations:
Managing incoming media requests and building relationships with industry journalists; creating, executing and measuring media campaigns
