Product Designer at FluxWe are looking for a product designer that believes there are no boundaries between form and function, and no border between graphic design and user experience. Our designer won't just make pretty pictures, but will work with the team to build a real product.
The designer should work on our product end-to-end, from user research, contributing to leading product strategy and initial UX ideas — to clean visual UI mockups and working side by side with the developers to ship our solutions. If you can prototype, even better.
We expect our designer to have at least 2 years of experience with design skills across mobile and web platforms, experience working closely with developers in a startup environment.
You will be working on digital receipts and digital loyalty cards that live in banking apps (Monzo, Starling, Barclays), web dashboards for retailers and occasionally on some print like stickers that promote Flux in retailer locations. We expect that you will take ownership for ensuring the overall platform, both the bank and retailer facing angles, remain unified and on brand.
We use Sketch for design, Marvel for low fidelity prototypes, store design files in Dropbox and track projects in Trello.
We are based in London by Old Street at one of the leading homes for fintech, Rise at 41 Luke Street.
Perks: we’re a positive group that care about the people we work with. We also work from home on Fridays (optional if you would prefer to be in the office) and we give generous holiday allowance.
Our interview process consists of asking for your portfolio, an initial phone screen followed by an on-site interview at our offices by Old Street. We may also ask for references.
