We're looking for a middleweight designer to join our friendly team in London. You will be full of ideas, have a good sense of craft and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. You'll be working alongside the founders, heading up your own projects, leading the creative direction and guiding our juniors.

Ideally, you will bring a new aspect to our studio (we're thinking: animation, illustration, 3D, but looking forward to being surprised).

Planning Unit is a small studio, though our projects are diverse, meaning you will work on a wide range of briefs from logo design for start-ups, film titles, publication design, digital products, through to rigorous identity systems for brands. Our client list includes the BBC, V&A, Nike, Salomon, D&AD, PlayStation as well as lesser known brands.

We work with clients on an international scale, currently across UK, USA and Hong Kong, so a global outlook is essential.

Your experience and skills
- Minimum 4+ years working in established design studios
- Experience working across different sectors, delivering a range of projects
- Fluent across the Adobe Creative Suite

What's important to us?
- Naturally inquisitive
- Excitement about designs trends
- Collaborative approach both within the studio and with our clients
- Enthusiastic & energetic
- Great conceptual thinker
- Confident and happy to give and receive feedback
- Delivering all jobs to the best of your ability
- Understand design systems and brand roll outs
- Personality fit is key, as we are a small team

What we offer

Competitive salary based on experience.
