Digital Project Manager – Mid-Weight

As a Digital Project Manager at Stereo you will have a key role in managing our digital projects.

You are responsible for the ongoing management and end-to-end delivery of projects across a variety of briefs including website design and build, app design and build, motion, interactive exhibitions, experiential, digital out of home and social media.

You will organise and lead multi-disciplinary teams, planning and ensuring the delivery of each project phase – from strategy to design to final deployment – with a strong commitment to delivering high quality deliverables, on time and within budget.

You will have a background in project management with experience of running and planning digital projects. Your organisational skills will be excellent and you will have a solution-based approach to problem-solving. You are pro-active and can work well with operational autonomy but know when to collaborate with other team members to keep projects running smoothly.

Energy, curiosity, enthusiasm, and above all, a strong passion for the digital world are essential characteristics of this role.

Typical Activities

– Gather and define project requirements, estimate project budgets, and perform accurate cost analysis and forecasts

– Partner with the account and production teams to ensure that assigned projects are progressing smoothly in accordance to project plans, creative briefs and budget considerations

– Have a point of view on the skill sets required for the project and what is required from the team

– Allocate resource on a weekly basis based on project requirements

– Determine project risk on an ongoing basis and escalate issues as needed

– Monitor out of scope requests and work with account management to communicate change requests and initiate additional cost estimates

– Ongoing project monitoring and reporting to the account management team

– Project quality assurance – testing and reviewing output deliverables against scope and technical and production specifications

Skills Required

– Excellent understanding and experience of managing UX, email, website and app development projects through the digital workflow

– Motivated, resilient, and able to work at pace to respond to the constantly evolving requirements of projects

– Able to respond to unexpected challenges, calm under pressure with a positive mindset

– Knowledge of project management tools, ideally with experience using Jira or similar platform

– You are reliable, able to meet deadlines and to organise your own and others time

– Confidence to liaise with clients directly, as and when required.
