GROW is a new life skills education programme that engages young people with nature, nutrition and well being. Our current educational curriculum delivers sessions for Y7 and Y8 students in food and farming, nutrition, yoga, philosophical thinking, breath work, mental maintenance and more. Our programme aims to provide these kids with the resources and opportunities to help them reach their full potential. We believe when you are feeling good about yourself, you are much more likely to make positive choices in other areas of your life. We want to empower young people for a brighter, healthier and more sustainable future.

We are looking for a candidate with strong editing, photography and storytelling skills, who can utilise social media to create long lasting impact and document our Grow journey. Unlike some environmental movements that can be seen to be grounded in a fear narrative, we want to create inspiring and entertaining content to make it accessible and desirable for young people to engage with. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the narrative and voice of GROW. We are a young charity with a bold vision. We want to make waves, not ripples.

You will have a proven track record of using social media to create a consisent and engaging online presence. You are an ambitious, self-motivated and forward-thinking creative who has a passion for social impact and community projects.

This is a super creative role with lots of big picture thinking: how can we get these kids engaged and motivated to make positive, impactful choices in their lives? How can we inspire and get them thinking in new ways?

We have big plans for 2020 and we want to widen our reach to as many young people as possible. Alongside the Grow curriculum, we are planning a programme of creative workshops, events and collaborations. We want to document our story, in and outside of the classroom. Grow is a movement for young people and they should be the heroes of all our content.

Our long term aim is to roll out the GROW programme to schools nationwide: re-shaping the landscape of education, environmental consciousness, health and well being. We are inspiring young people to become a more informed, environmentally conscious and mindful generation. We want to promote new ways of seeing the world and new ways of thinking.
