Who we are

We’re Craft Gin Club - a Sunday Times Fast Track 100 UK startup and the world’s biggest gin subscription service.

Ever since our founders pitched successfully on Dragons’ Den, we’ve been hard at work, scouting the country - and the globe! - to find the world's finest small-batch gins. Every month, we send thousands of gin lovers across the country a surprise box packed with craft gins, mixers, foodie treats and our club magazine.


The role

We are currently looking for a digitally native, experienced creative thinker to lead our creative function. You will develop disrupting strategic concepts & campaign ideas, oversee their execution across all consumer touchpoints & own the delivery of all digital & social assets. Reporting into the Head of Brand and Communications, you will lead our creative team and work closely with our content, marketing & partnerships teams as well as our external agency partners.

Curious, with a great eye for detail and a natural skill for visual storytelling, you will take our creative output to the next level by delivering disruptive marketing content across digital, print, moving image, interactive & experiential media formats.


Main responsibilities

Creative Thinking and Ideation

  • Exceptional creative thinking with the ability to create fun, engaging and disruptive ideas in keeping with our tone of voice.
  • Great conceptual & executional skills to develop campaign ideas that can work across a variety of channels and deliver against our marketing strategy
  • Ability to create channel-led ideas including outdoor, experiential, PR, trade shows, influencer projects and social
  • Exploration and development of campaign copy with the assistance of a junior copywriter
  • Creative direction & mentoring of our in-house creative consisting of a senior graphic designer, a junior graphic designer and a videographer.


Digital & Social

  • Work with our content & performance marketing teams to understand our social & digital asset requirements and enhance our creative output
  • Oversee the creative output in platform-first creative as part of campaigns and as part of every-day content
  • Work alongside our content team to create industry-first creative in keeping with the social strategy
  • Hands-on design and delivery of social ad content across all social media channels including Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest
  • Hands-on design and delivery of digital content across all digital channels including display, email & web
  • Leading multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines


Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience leading creative teams
  • Experience leading creative projects with tight deadlines
  • 8-10 years of experience in house or agency side with an emphasis on consumer marketing ideally with D2C brands.
  • Demonstrated creative excellence with proven digital abilities
  • Experience leading & delivering creative work at pace
  • Excellent conceptual level thinking
  • In-depth knowledge of the creative industry and current trends
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • University degree in relevant field.
  • Curious with a flair for creative excellence and attention to detail
  • Very good understanding of channel marketing performance metrics
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and resilient with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for gin is a plus
