JOB DESCRIPTION

As Studio Manager you are responsible for the smooth running of the studio, overseeing every project and making sure everything is in place and operating well. Working in collaboration with the Producers and Creative Leads you will build project scopes and timelines to ensure each project is resourced correctly, flagging any concerns to the senior team.

MAIN DUTIES

Studio Management

Overview of day to day studio operations.

Forging strong links with key internal and external personnel

Sourcing tech & co-ordinating tech maintenance.

Administrator of google and slack accounts.

General office admin.


Planning and forecasting

Work in collaboration with the Production & Creative Teams to scope and plan all projects, creating timelines and estimates.

Adding new projects onto Harvest and the studio job board.

Ensure project huddles are planned in and all relevant team members attend.

Long term creative forecasting.


Resourcing, scheduling and workflow

Help to ensure the designers are fully briefed and aware of deliverables and deadlines before undertaking assignments.

Attend project huddles to ensure projects are on track and all resource needs are met.

Maintaining Float our studio scheduling tool.

Source and commission creative freelancers/partners in collaboration with the Creative Team.


Tracking

Ensure timesheets are completed weekly, tracking project time.

Update the Senior Management team on the status of project work.


Project Support

Source small format print items.

Support the studio teams with ad hoc project requests.


Recruitment

Supporting the recruitment process for the creative teams.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Five years experience in a similar role - ideally within an experiential agency or production house.

Good understanding of creative processes; eg print/digital design and interior design.

A problem solver who is able to understand the needs of each project and the studio priorities and business needs.

Confident communicator, willing to adapt and keep cool and calm under pressure.

A multi-tasker who is highly organised and proactive with excellent attention to detail.

Organised and able to meet deadlines.

Good knowledge and familiarity with Google docs, a basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite would also be useful but not essential.
