ELSE is a strategic design consultancy that helps businesses create innovative and effective product and service experiences. For the last 10 years we’ve worked with clients on product and service innovation projects from the tea farms of Kenya to the global hub of fintech. We work wherever people, brands and technology come together.

Last year we won a DBA Design Effectiveness Gold Award, recognition that we are focused on effective design and future business value for our clients.

Our studio is an open and highly collaborative environment, where clients come to be inspired. We also work at their place embedding our teams into their business to drive change. In either environment we strive to push people to be the best they can be and we have a proposition geared to helping you leave better than when you arrived. We work a 4-Day Week for our clients, investing every second Friday in R&D projects that help us explore and experiment. The other Friday is a day off.

As an Interaction Designer at ELSE you will help set the tone and quality of our creative output and confidently bring brands to life in simple, coherent and intuitive user interfaces that interpret brand strategies, values and intent into interaction designs that delight the end-user.

You’ll thrive in tackling complex interface challenges, developing appropriate tonal interpretations and bring clarity, order and understanding to emotive and intangible brand and communication requirements. You’ll possess skills in doing this through the creation of scenarios, sketches, models, mood boards, design research, prototypes, mock-ups, full interactive design systems, screen designs, toolkits, animatics and other relevant Interaction Design (IxD) outputs.
