Your role in a nutshell

A strong and passionate individual who will support in bringing to life The Body Shop’s global brand purpose through best in class omnichannel content. You will support on the creation of assets working alongside a multidisciplined creative team and key stakeholders creating disruptive, engaging consumer campaigns and experiences.
Working closely with the Content lead, this role will concept and create assets partnering closely with the lead creative roles to ensure that the consumer journeys, touchpoints and product strategies bring the brands purpose to life.
This is hands on position responsible for translating briefs to creative strategic platforms and stories, creating world-class campaigns from concept and following the journey to execution. You will work closely and collaboratively with the key cross functional stakeholders as required

More about the role

  • Support and develop a strong understanding of the Brand Purpose, Brand Guidelines and business strategies to deliver high quality campaigns and assets through a ‘consumer first’ lens; promoting products whilst brand building.
  • Support the creation of omnichannel content campaigns, consumer journeys and product launches from brief to design partnering with cross functional creative teams
  • Following direction from the Content lead and working with the broader Creative team to create disruptive and compelling content through a consumer and mobile first lens
  • Support in the creation of the end-to-end execution of omnichannel content and multi-channel campaigns working collaboratively with in-house creative team and Digital teams to deliver strong content output
  • Develop moving image & still content that require using photography, video editing and camera operation skills
  • Act as an in-house content expert who can advise studio members in how content best works online and offline, and advise on best practice
  • Partner with the overall creative teams to support in bringing to life the brands purpose through strong end to end design
  • Champion global consistency across all global touchpoints ensuring that language is clear, compelling and that sets us aside across the globe
  • Excellent understanding of The Body Shop Purpose strategic framework and ability to translate it into design guidelines, a champion for the brand
  • An excellent team player, flourishes in a multicultural environment, is an active listener and interacts effectively

  • Proven experience working in a Content role; working cross functionally within a fast-paced environment and delivering strong levels of success through design led propositions that match corporate objectives
  • Omnichannel asset creation experience
  • Proven experience in creating content with knowledge of techniques and industry standards
  • Knowledge and experience in photography, videography, animation, editing and grading
  • Proven experience in developing commercially viable creative content that will live across multiple omnichannels platforms
  • Understanding of existing and emerging platforms - Blogs, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Google+, Facebook etc
  • Good communication skills and experience on working with cross-functional teams in brief development and translation to concept
  • Passionate about creativity and design across multiple touchpoints
  • Strong communicator, influencer and able to prioritise multiple projects
  • Experience working cross-culturally or in a global environment
  • Flexible outlook with a solution-orientated approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills – can communicate concisely and confidently at all levels
  • A strong focus on ‘getting things done’
  • Retail/Fashion/Beauty industry experience is an advantage
  • Abreast of current emerging trends and competitor set
  • Current and fluent knowledge of key design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One, Da Vinci Resolve etc.
