Skilled social media editor for exciting new place brand

Brent Cross South is an exciting new part of London being created by Argent Related in partnership with Barnet Council. Between Cricklewood, Golders Green and Hendon, the town will have homes for 15,000, workspaces for 25,000, and 50 acres of reimagined parklands for all of London.

We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic social media editor with local knowledge who will help to establish and fuel this new place’s social media channels, helping us connect with people locally and across London.

Knowledge of this part of North-west London is essential, so please tell us about your connection with Brent Cross, Cricklewood, Golders Green or Hendon in your cover letter – whether you live locally, work in the area, or visit regularly.

Salary: Up to £200 per day

  • Experience and examples of successful digital copywriting: demonstrating how your work successfully engaged and inspired the target audience
  • Experience managing social media platforms: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook. LinkedIn experience is desirable but not required.
  • Knowledge of the area around Brent Cross: including Cricklewood, Golders Green and Hendon
  • Passion for places and people: we’re looking for someone who will relish discovering the area’s secrets, promoting its big wins and turning Brent Cross South into a London hero
  • Curious and charming: who’s unafraid to request a snippet of video interview from a passerby, and who loves a chat with locals and leasing agents alike
  • Targets focused: with strong understanding and motivation for hitting engagement targets and connecting audiences from further afield to Brent Cross South as well as its current local community
  • Great online communicator: happy adjusting tone to match the brand and comfortable with digital tools
  • Flexible working pattern: the candidate can achieve and would appreciate a flexible schedule of roughly 2 hours a day, 5 days a week
  • Available to start in September/October for a two-month contract with the potential to extend

Argent Related brings together Argent the respected developer with a track record in creating exemplar new pieces of UK cities including King’s Cross, joined forces in March 2015 with Related, the most prominent privately-owned real estate firm in the United States responsible for Hudson Yards.

As social media editor, you would be part of the team at dn&co, a brand and design consultancy inspired by culture and place.
