We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior 3D Motion Artist for our client, an award winning creative studio based in London that creates captivating content for a global audience through imaginative and innovative visual storytelling. They channel design into everything they do from motion, to filmmaking and VR, aiming to amplify the brand message of each company they work with across every platform in unexpected and memorable ways.

The ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and craft, alongside expert knowledge of modelling, lighting and texturing in Cinema 4D, rendering in Octane and Redshift, and a good understanding of Houdini. You will possess great leadership skills and work well as part of a team, as well as being self-motivated and organised, combining strong design, animation and art direction skills to create industry-leading, photo-real 3D motion work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience as a 3D motion designer in a creative or design agency.
  • Engaging portfolio/ showreel of work that demonstrates impressive motion graphics.
  • Strong understanding across all digital platforms and motion tools, with expert knowledge of C4D, Octane and Redshift.
  • Expert compositing and finishing skills, particularly in After Effects but Nuke is a bonus.
  • Good working knowledge of Houdini, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • You are an excellent communicator with the ability to present ideas and concepts back to key stakeholders
  • Experience with managing and mentoring a team is key as you will be mentoring junior members of staff and leading by example
  • Must have sharp visual design eye and attention to detail
  • A genuine passion for visual storytelling, imagery, and motion design, and the drive to keep up with the latest design trends and software packages.
  • A strong communicator with fantastic collaboration skills.
  • Additional knowledge of software such as Substance Painter, X-Particles, and Z-Brush is a bonus.
