What we’re looking for

A creative copywriter who can comfortably jump between different writing styles and creative challenges. A naturally curious writer who produces ideas-led messaging that’s not only a joy to read, but impossible not to.

You’re able to land on one line that sums up a 100 page strategy doc. Create a set of values that inspire 500+ employees. And develop a campaign hook that inspires millions to click 'buy'.

Your copy will be seen on everything from packaging to billboards to websites to influencer campaigns to films to t-shirts to menus to sometimes those useless tent cards on restaurant tables. It wasn’t our decision.

You will be able to wear different hats, at the drop of a hat. Monday - the radically simple Franco Manca. Tuesday - a delicate sprinkling of wordplay for Haws Watering Cans. Wednesday - channel the man, the myth, the legend, the founder of natural wine punks Passione Vino. Thursday - write stories for the craft beer champions of the underdog Lost Rivers. Friday? We’ll let you know Thursday when the client tells us.

Your day to day lead will be the Brand Director. But you will also be working very closely with both Creative Directors as well as the Strategy Director throughout any given project to ensure your messaging aligns with the lofty goals of our ambitious clients.


Campaigns & Motion: Work closely with the Brand Director to translate strategy into strong creative hooks and tight campaign concepts. Unlike most brand formation work, messaging will more often than not need to lead the creative here. Lead all scriptwriting as well as helping to source voice over artists where required.

Brand: Support, and in some cases lead, the creation of a brand's values, personality, tone of voice and core messaging pillars. Lead messaging for all ongoing content required across multiple channels.

Website: Working from the technical SEO brief created by the Strategy Director, ensure all website copy is both aligned to the brand’s defined personality and tone of voice and working hard from a performance perspective.

Other: Assist on proofreading where required. And be a proactive and generous contributor of creative reference/findings.
