Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas manages 16 hotels and resorts and 27 spas in 20 countries under the brand names Six Senses, Evason and Six Senses Spas, and has signed a further 28 properties into the development pipeline. The Group Director of Social Media is an instrumental position in defining and delivering the company's social media strategy, including the promotion of ongoing content, amplification of the brand identity and growth of community across all platforms.

The successful candidate will keep all brand values at the forefront of the overall social media strategy, implement new campaigns in creative and innovative ways, and work closely with marketing and social media teams around the world.

The role will report to the Vice President of Marketing Communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the development and execution of Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas integrated social media strategy
  • Being the brand guardian, ensuring that brand guidelines and tone of voice are adhered to across all corporate, resort and spa channels
  • Acting as an extension of the brand and providing a guest experience that encourages personal connections between the brand and its followers
  • Growing engagement and the overall brand community
  • Working closely with marketing and social media teams around the world, providing support and overseeing the implementation of social media modules and the creation of original and engaging content
  • Working collaboratively on the development and implementation of a wide range of content forms, including text, still imagery, video, animation, live sessions and other content forms across different social media platforms
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor, measure and adjust different campaign objectives, maximize traffic and engagement in a constantly changing social media landscape
  • Keeping up to date and implementing new techniques, features and emerging social media trends to grow brand awareness and drive traffic to sixsenses.com

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, editorial voice and creative writing skills. They will be an organized self-starter that can both identify problems and propose solutions to them, as well as take direction and communicate efficiently with a small, fast-paced team. They will be able to adapt and adjust to ongoing social media and content needs quickly, have a keen eye for new opportunities to maximize our impact as a brand on social media.
