This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented multidisciplinary Junior Graphic Designer to join our Design team!

In this vital role, you will be responsible for creating imaginative and creative print and digital assets for a variety of departments, including entertainment, marketing, brand partnerships, publishing, merchandise, digital, social media and more.

You'll be responsible for

  • The creation of a variety of brand assets including:

>Social assets
>Brand partnership assets
>Marketing calendars
>Infographics
>Iconography
>Typography
>Lettering
>Patterns
>Colour palettes

  • The creation and upkeep of brand, product and marketing calendars and Keynote presentations
  • Product and trends research
  • Style guide creation and development
  • Product concepts and mockups
  • Packaging & POS
  • Marketing collaterals
  • Departmental digital newsletters
  • Brand guidelines
  • Asset management
  • Such other duties and responsibilities as we may notify you of from time to time

Your skills and experience

The successful candidate for the role of Junior Graphic Designer will:

  • Have 1-3 years’ design experience
  • Have mid to high-level knowledge and experience in using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are essential)
  • Have mid to high-level knowledge and experience in using Keynote
  • Have multi-disciplinary design experience and interests, demonstrable in your portfolio
  • Be flexible to work in a number of creative areas
  • Be able to create product mock-ups (both CAD and true-to-life)
  • Be passionate about working with brands
  • Be confident and passionate in generating exciting ideas
  • Be comfortable working within brand guidelines, but have the skillset and confidence to think creatively and expand them
  • Be an extremely confident and capable designer, with a great eye for style and presentation, whilst being receptive to feedback and able to handle direction from the team
  • Be well-organised, understanding the importance of sticking to briefing deadlines, using their own initiative when carrying out tasks
  • Have a strong interest in the publishing and entertainment industries, brand licensing and consumer products
  • Be well-versed in asset management and the importance of consistent brand guidelines
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Be comfortable creating to both a hand finished and digital aesthetic
  • Be open to learn new skills and work collaboratively
  • Have experience in creating GIF’s and basic animated content is a plus
  • Know and love Roald Dahl’s stories!

Additional details

  • Salary - Dependent on experience
  • Contract - 6-month fixed-term contract (with a potential for a permanent position for the right candidate)
  • Working hours - Monday to Friday, 9.30 to 17.30
  • Start date - ASAP
  • Office location - Marylebone, London (we are working remotely as a temporary measure)
