The Role:

This is an exciting new opportunity where you’ll be managing our global Digital ‘news desk’, editorializing the FitFlop brand and new product via engaging and innovative storytelling and content creation. You’ll help build our social army and drive our message through multiple channels including Facebook, Instagram, and whilst ensuring that all digital content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and most importantly, that content is optimized (commercially and technically) for user experience for all digital channels.

You’ll be someone who thinks like a publisher or journalist, ideally from a high-quality magazine brand or good digital platform that women LOVE and come back to time and time again.

The Responsibilities:

• Create and manage the digital monthly content plan including, social media channels and email plan, ensuring the plans are adapted for both
UK & US market calendars
• Oversee the brand content online ensuring assets are briefed and delivered OTIF. Content to include homepage tiles, category headers, content pages,
emails and social media channels
• Oversee social media and collaborate with creative services, copy and production teams to achieve shared brand goals
• Liaise cross functionally on brand and product initiatives, collaborations and press to ensure themes, stories and content are captured and planned
• Forward plan content themes and emails 3-6 months in advance working closely with the digital trading and CRM teams as well as brand and creative
• Oversee content from a brand and story perspective and ensure the correct assets, copy and links are applied to correct areas on site, including staging
sign off with digital
• Review performance metrics on each channel to build and improve conversion and performance of all assets based on results (, emails and
social media)
• Brief creative team with any social media assets required and follow up on delivery
• Work with digital merchandising team to ensure products in content are in stock and have adequate cover for the duration of the activity
• Liaise with the International Marketing team to deliver and generate social assets in all focus markets and ensure all distributor channels remain true to
the brand strategy & direction.
• Liaise with Brand and Digital to manage use of influencer-generated content, ensuring influencers used are on brand, resonate with our target consumers
and all content is captured and repurposed in accordance with agreed usage rights

The Person:

• Experienced in editorial and content management from a fashion or retail background be it print or digital platform, with an appreciation of international
market differences.
• Strong analytical skills to review key metrics, generate learnings and optimize performance of activities
• Superb people skills with the ability to work as the anchor of a wide cross functional team
• Strategically minded enabling clear articulation of the business goals behind the creation of each content piece / initiative
• Ability to think like an educator, understanding what the audience wants and needs to know and how they want to consume it
• You’ll be upbeat, energetic, creative and passionate, with strong attention to detail
• A confident communicator and project manager
• A go-getter, you’ll be deadline driven and super proactive – someone who thinks ahead to anticipate future needs and can take on a project and run with it
• Comfortable to work independently, but also enjoys being collaborative and having a team around them
• You’ll be a serial multi-tasker, who can switch gears quickly and with ease in a dynamic working environment
