About the Role:

In this position, you will serve as a strategist, working with team members, on all projects that you are assigned. You will provide value by creating new opportunities, driving innovation and helping our clients think differently about their businesses and brands. Fundamental to this role is to build relationships with clients in order to earn trust and create new areas for growth. You will have opportunities to work with a variety of clients, categories and internal teams. 

General Duties: 
• Design and execute qualitative research methodologies (alternative and traditional) 
• Hones screeners and discussion guides 
• Desk research; scour the marketplace, prepare briefing materials on industry, categories, client specific assignments and new client opportunities for Redscout 
• Deck support: find relevant articles and draft sections of presentations and concepts
• Facilitate and/or participate in 1 on 1 interviews, focus groups, shop alongs, ideations and brainstorming sessions
• Synthesise learning from all primary and secondary research
• Prioritise key areas of learning and develop strong point of view around what really matters
• Writes sections of presentations and concepts including but not limited to; product concepts, idea statements, benefits/claims, RTCs, etc.
• Able to inspire creative output
• Presents assigned sections at client meetings
• Works to establish rewarding, collaborative relationships with client peers both within, and outside of, projects
• Manages project budget and calendar 
• Proactively oversees development goals of all team members who report up to them 
• Assisting as required with business development efforts from research to pitch materials and participating in capabilities presentations 

About you:

Scouts come from a wide range of backgrounds - advertising, architecture, science, design - and we like it that way. Overall, we look for:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• 3-5 years of experience
• Aptitude to develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders 
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as well as independently 
• Knowledge of graphic design best practices and principles for both print and web projects
