At Simba, we do things differently, and we're here to turn the mattress world around.

We're on a mission to create the best night's sleep for everyone. We want to deliver on a promise to offer unparalleled simplicity and customer experience. Do you think you can help us on this mission?

Our story started with a single piece of thread and has grown exponentially since then. As our fierce growth plans show no sign of slowing, we are looking for a Digital CRM Designer to join the Design Team in our swanky new office in London Victoria.

We are looking for someone who is in love with design and has a can-do attitude and great attention to detail.

No shrinking violets here! We’re very much a start-up culture, so you’ll be diving straight into projects when you join. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years experience and experience within an in house creative team would be beneficial.

You’ll be working in a fast paced environment and joining a talented design team alongside a Senior Integrated Designer, Artworker, UI Designer, Print Designer, Motion Designer and Video Creator, reporting into the Head of Design.

The job in a nutshell:

  • Your friends probably describe you as a perfectionist, but it’s only because you know that if a job’s worth doing, you might as well do it well. Layout, retouching and an exacting eye for detail are all essential skills for someone interested in this role.
  • We are looking for a talented Digital Designer with established skills in designing for banner marketing. You must have proven experience within an e-commerce environment and have experience producing assets for marketing channels including but not limited to: email, facebook ads, instagram, twitter, pinterest, native advertising and display banners. You have a strong understanding of creative that drives performance and are comfortable with a range of formats including images, GIFs, video and animation.
  • As we digitise our marketing communications and launch our online channels, you will play a key role in creating designs and rich content assets to support multi-channel campaigns. Your role will focus on creating assets and campaigns for promotional activity and personalised content for our website and mobile apps.
  • You will be responsible for collaborating with the performance team and other members of the design team to create engaging designs, driving sales and promoting the brand and products.
  • Although your role will primarily be designing for banner communications, you will be called on to create graphics for social media, assist with website updates, wider campaign assets, occasionally designing and building landing pages, and other ad-hoc design tasks.

Skills that we’re looking for:

  • Strong eye in typography, colour, and layout balance, paired with a great understanding of digital channels and what drives customers to take action.
  • Thinking outside of the box - but within the toolbox. We’ve got a great brand that we’ll be evolving over the course of the next few months, and we want someone who’s excited by the chance to be part of the design team to use these tools and bring them to life.
  • Someone with a can-do attitude, great attention to detail and who’s unafraid to voice their ideas and brings them actively to the table.
  • We’re designing for people - so the user must be at the forefront of your thinking.
  • You think design helps solve problems and makes users take action - you’re fiercely practical.
  • Comfortable working in a start-up culture with a high growth/agile environment. A fearless problem-solver with a can-do approach who embraces constant change.
  • A designer who is confident in the Adobe suite.
  • Experience with testing and optimisation would also be advantageous.

  • Health care & life assurance
  • Brand new iMac to work on
  • Pension
  • Discounted Gym membership
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Free mattress
