Our story started with a single piece of thread and has grown exponentially since then. As our fierce growth plans show no sign of slowing, we are looking for a Senior Integrated Designer to join the Design Team in our swanky new office in London Victoria.

We are looking for someone who is in love with design and has a can-do attitude and great attention to detail.

No shrinking violets here! We’re very much a start-up culture, so you’ll be diving straight into projects when you join. We are looking for someone with at least 4 years experience and experience within an in house creative team would be beneficial.

You’ll be working in a fast paced environment and joining a talented design team alongside a UI Designer, Print Designer, Motion Designer, Artworker and Video Creator, reporting into the Head of Design.

The job in a nutshell:

  • Digital campaigns - your expertise for digital campaign concepting and imaginative, out-of-the box thinking will be lent on. You’ll be focused on how we can apply our new brand guidelines in regards to lifestyle imagery, animation and video throughout our digital estate and enrich the user experience.
  • You will be able to conceptualise, scamp, develop and present a range of engaging ideas to other teams at Simba Sleep.
  • Social and email - standout and thumbstopping creative, with basic knowledge of the different stages of performance marketing and ability to design for each stage in the customer acquisition process.
  • Performance marketing assets - multilayer animation between graphics, type, motion graphics, but designed to be commercially highly effective. You will need to supercharge our digital advertising design and be able to adapt it to multiple languages and countries. 

Skills that we’re looking for:

  • Imaginative thinking and up to date with design trends that can be adapted into an innovative digital brand communication.
  • Strong eye in typography, colour, and layout balance, paired with an understanding of digital channels and what drives customers to take action.
  • Thinking outside of the box - but within the toolbox. We’ve got a great brand that we’ll be evolving over the course of the next few months, and we want someone who’s excited by the chance to be the first designer to use these tools and bring them to life.
  • Someone with a can-do attitude, great attention to detail and who’s unafraid to voice their ideas and brings them actively to the table. Reskinning last month’s banners isn’t going to be good enough for Simba.
  • We’re designing for people - so the user must be at the forefront of your thinking.
  • You think design helps solve problems and makes users take action - you’re fiercely practical. 
  • Comfortable working in a start-up culture with a high growth/agile environment. A fearless problem-solver with a can-do approach who embraces constant change.
  • A seasoned designer who is aware of what’s going on in the design world and enjoys digesting design in their spare time - and brings that excitement back into the team and wants to apply it to their work
  • A designer who is confident in both the Adobe suite and Sketch. A designer who can use After Effects is a bonus.
