A bit about us...

We’re a motion design studio in the North Laine area of Brighton making animated video for brands and their agencies. We’re a values-driven company with lots of energy, ideas and a passion for making wonderful things. Check out the website to see more of what we do.

What we’re looking for…

We’re after a friendly, confident & vibrant person to primarily develop new business leads and raise the studio’s profile. Our Business Development & Brand Manager will lead the design and execution of our new business and marketing communication strategies.

Responsibilities include bringing in new clients and projects; looking after how the brand is communicated externally; increasing brand awareness and recognition. The successful candidate will help to shape the studio’s future direction so it’s essential that we find a great culture, personality and values match.

We’re offering this as a part time role on a 12 month contract, with flexibility over the number of working hours per week. We’re open to discussing terms with the right candidate, making this is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to design their working week around personal commitments.

We’re looking for someone who is easy-going, honest and dedicated. Our new recruit will have experience of working within a creative studio or agency environment in a relevant role* and will relish the challenge to join and champion our small team; helping us to set and achieve business goals.

*New Business / Sales, Marketing / PR, Client Relationship Management / Account Management


Self-initiated and autonomous; able to self-manage workloads, as well as work with the team in order to meet agreed targets
Strategic & tactical thinker; able to design and realise workable plans for developing the business
Marketing expertise with a good understanding of public relations and social media
Strong organisational skills and methodical working practices and outstanding attention to detail
Proactive with a solution-focused approach
Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, listening
Confident public speaker with great presentation skills
Superb interpersonal skills; personable and able to build rapport easily
Good knowledge of MS Office software, ideally on Mac


Copywriting experience; confident writing articles & press releases
Experience of Creative Suite tools such as InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator
Experience using presentation software such as Keynote or Powerpoint
Knowledge of animation and design industries
