We are seeking a talented, self-motivated and creative digital designer to join our positive team and help to create fulfilling and effective online user experiences for our clients and internal projects. You will play a key role in the development of our design process and help us to lead our industry in creating low carbon, accessible websites that create positive impact online.

This is a full time semi-remote role in an open and relaxed environment in which you will split your time between working from home, our office near Piccadilly in London and meeting clients at their offices in and around London.

If you have a passion for both design and sustainability, this is a chance to join a great team of positive minded people and help us to not only achieve our clients goals but also to achieve our mission of using business to help create a sustainable and equitable world.

The job will involve:

* Discussing project requirements with the client
* Presenting creative ideas to meet the client’s requirements
* Advising the client on user experience and conversion optimisation
* Facilitating design and UX workshops with team members and clients
* Planning sitemaps, user journeys and wireframe designs for websites
* Graphic design of responsive websites using Sketch, Figma and Photoshop
* Communicating your designs to our web developers for production
* Working with our team to identify ways to make websites more energy efficient, more accessible and load faster without compromising aesthetics and overall user experience
* Providing design advice to other members of the team and creating design collateral for the Wholegrain Digital brand

Front end development skills would be a bonus but are NOT essential. However, you must have sufficient technical knowledge to ensure that your designs are feasible and to communicate your ideas to our team of developers. Reasonable understanding of CRO and SEO is also a bonus. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Invision and Zeplin will be very useful too.

Benefits:

* Flexible working
* Rewards for using renewable energy at home
* Team Days
* Pension
* Competitive salary based on experience
* Free access to London’s Santander bikes
* Paid travelling for events in Europe
* Discounts and invitations to events and facilities at Somerset House
