We're on the look out for an enthusiastic and creative social media assistant to join It’s Nice That for three months. Within this role you will support the social media manager in delivering It’s Nice That’s evolving social media strategy, and play an integral part in championing our creative community.


This is an exciting opportunity for those who have a genuine passion for the creative industry and a great understanding of the role social media plays within digital publishing.


Applicants must be available to start from Monday 2nd July. This is a 3 month contract.




Key Tasks


  • Scheduling of It’s Nice That content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Pinterest. 
  •  Monitoring all social channels and responding to followers and creatives.  
  • Contacting creatives to collaborate in social media features. 
  •  Building social reports to share with wider company. 
  • Creating assets and images for social channels in Photoshop or Indesign. 
  • Competitor analysis - looking for trends in social distribution and content ideas.
  • Searching for breaking news content to send to editorial team.
    Supporting social media manager to deliver content at It’s Nice That events.



Key Skills 


  • Prior experience in social media or editorial related role. 
  • Fun and confident tone of voice. 
  • Excellent grammar and copywriting skills. 
  • A solid understanding of social media metrics and behaviours for building reports. 
  • Experience using Photoshop, Indesign or relative software to create and edit social media assets. 
  • Strong communication skills.



About you 


  • You will posses the skill to own our TOV, and know how to use images and video to create truly engaging social media content. 
  • You will be a natural ideas person, and can react quickly to ideas or content opportunities. 
  • You will have a great understanding of the creative industry: you’ll know who’s doing great work within graphic design, illustration, photography and animation communities.

  • Salary: £408/Week (London Living Wage) 
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am — 6pm (flexible hours between 8am – 7pm)
