Do you love movies, games and TV shows and have experience project managing? We’re looking for someone to join Substance’s creative team as a project manager to cover maternity leave within the team.

Headquartered in East London with an office in Los Angeles, our clients include top entertainment brands such as Paramount Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox, Universal Pictures and Warner
Bros. Interactive. We have developed outstanding campaigns for titles such as Mission Impossible, Jurassic World, Red Sparrow and Lego Marvel Super Heroes.

About you:
Preferably, you’ll have experience in the delivery of campaigns for entertainment or consumer products and have experience of working closely, both with a creative studio and with clients. You should be a self-starter and confident in all facets of project management - from brief interpretation to idea generation, through the creative process, to final delivery.

Of definite benefit to the role will be an exposure too - and understanding of using social media platforms in digital marketing but, essentially, you’ll need to be creative-minded, organised, hard-working, detail orientated and calm when multitasking under pressure.

The Role’s Duties & Tasks:
The primary focus of this role is to support Substance’s other project managers, though you will be an active and participating member of our team, assisting planning our work-flow and the delivery of work to our clients.

You will be involved in multiple campaigns, ranging from localisation of supplied international social media assets for the local UK market, through to global campaigns with creative designed from scratch for distribution to partner agencies in multiple markets.

The job responsibilities will cover the following areas:
• Working with the team here and clients to understand their brief and project requirements
• Working with the team and client project stakeholders to source appropriate design assets and affirm campaign requirements
• Day to day co-management of members of our studio, including freelancers, to deliver projects on time and to budget

Standards & Requirements:
• Experience of working within a creative agency or digital media environment
• An interest in entertainment and in social media
• Good internal and client facing communication skills
• An understanding of the capabilities of the main suite of studio creative tools, such as PhotoShop and AfterEffects.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of written and verbal formats with a wide range of people; external individuals, organisations and other 3rd parties
• Strong IT skills – Be that in word processing, on spreadsheets or in google products
• Strong time management skills and motivation
• An ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience of marketing projects and related services with a good eye for design
• Strong practical organisational skills
• A can-do attitude and a willingness to ‘muck in’ when required
