We are currently looking for a Junior Digital and Marketing Coordinator to join our creative team.

The Role

This role involves creating effective content and managing engagement across our social media channels. As part of this role, you will be working closely with the Creative Director and Managing Editor to develop content that amplifies brand presence and editorial network. Applying for this role calls for both creative writing and some design work.


1. Contribute and manage creative content distribution and social marketing strategy.

2. Oversee the day- to-day growth ,running and community management of our social channels

3. Develop engaging content for our channels:

• Calendar management and copywriting
• Generating content ideas for editorial stories and social activations
• Proofing and managing the co-ordination of analytics and reporting.

4. Develop on new and existing media and brand relationships to grow our editorial network and content.

5. Increase brand and readership growth by driving online traffic to the site and media channels.

• Optimise copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation.


1. A track record of SEO related, copywriting, email / social marketing, audience conversions is necessary.

2. Networking Skills: Ability and interest in connecting with other likeminded brands, personalities and industry leaders in relevant topics. Creating authentic and engaging connections with our readers and wider brand community.

3. Writing Ability: Creating clear, concise writing with personality that complements our editorial tone and engages with our readership. An understanding of web formatting, and a general knowledge of writing for the web is a plus.
Reporting and administration: Possessing excellent administrative and IT skills. Well organised and is accurate with good attention to detail.

4. Technical and Creative: Able to comfortably use a range of photographic equipment for film and still image. Have a firm understanding of creative editing software (Adobe Creative Suite).

5. Developed skills in Adobe software, email management via Mailchimp, website host platform Wordpress as well as all social platforms.

6. Resourcefulness: Good research skills and the ability to learn and adapt new tools and strategies.
