My client are a world class integrated branding agency housing a team of 25 highly talented individuals, including designers, strategists, writers and account managers. They have opened their doors to a Midweight Account Manager who will help manage a broad range of lifestyle and technology clients through various touch points, including identity programmes, events and experiential.

Client relationships
⎯ Actively build client relationships
⎯ Able to run meetings with junior and mid-level clients (when
Account Director is not available)

Client development
⎯ Proactively spot new business opportunities with existing clients and bring to fruition

Generating new business
⎯ Support your Account Director or the Client Service Director to manage pitch preparation
⎯ Support your Account Director or the Client Service Director to produce and present new business proposals and tenders

Financial management
⎯ Keep track of fee for all projects and status of approval
⎯ Develop accurate forecasts for your client accounts
⎯ Proactively think of ways to replace shortfalls (in meeting targets)
⎯ Support the team to meet monthly and annual revenue targets for
your clients

⎯ Responsible for scoping and writing proposals for small and medium-sized projects
⎯ Ensure projects are delivered as profitably as possible, to include weekly analysis of budgeted vs. actual man-hours expended and make changes in real-time that can improve project profitability
⎯ Prepare an analysis of why actual costs have exceeded predicted costs or vice versa
⎯ Develop ideas for improvements and work with Account Director to implement agency-wide initiatives and processes

Project management and delivery
⎯ Take client briefs and write internal creative briefs
⎯ Responsibile for efficient planning and management of all projects
from brief through to execution
⎯ Pre-empt problems before they occur
⎯ Proficient problem resolution
⎯ Responsibility for the real-time delivery of high-quality work
⎯ Proactively suggest improvements to the work
⎯ Hold excellent supplier/partner relationships (e.g. event production
companies, caterers, printers etc.), working collaboratively to
ensure the smooth running and delivery of client projects
⎯ Work off-site and in some cases out of office hours to produce and
oversee the running of events for our clients

People management
⎯ Responsible for managing an Account Executive (as applicable) in your team and ensuring they are happy and motivated
⎯ Work with your Account Director to ensure your Account Executive (if applicable) has objectives and regular performance reviews
⎯ Highlight team training and development needs of your direct
reports (as applicable) to your Account Director
⎯ Support Account Director to recruit new members to the team
