Not To Scale is a dynamic film and animation content production studio. Established in 2005 we have built a world-class reputation as a go-to creative studio. There is an opportunity to join Not To Scale’s team as the Studio Manager at the London studio.

We are looking for a friendly, organised and efficient Studio Manager to run our London Office. The studio, based in the heart of Soho is a welcoming, creative environment to work in, featured in Monocle Magazine's 2013 'Guide to Better Living' as The Perfect Office, no less! 

The ideal candidate will be diligent, enthusiastic and good at prioritising their day, whilst maintaining a passion for creativity. They will also be able to work as part of a team, under guidance, or independently using their own initiative. They must also be prepared to ask for help, take advice when necessary and to show a willingness to work the occasionally long day when required.

The candidate must be able to implement and maintain various systems that help to provide an efficient and smooth-running studio environment. They will be required to provide some light P.A. duties to the Managing Director and C.E.O., including organising travel and schedules. This versatile position will also involve other general administrative duties including; managing the studio phone system, petty cash management and credit card reconciliations, database administration, status meeting management, managing holiday log, greeting clients and managing the London studio’s stocks and supplies, switchboard....and much more.

The right candidate will have a great personality, a can-do attitude and will be willing to learn and accept new responsibilities at short notice on a daily basis.

Experience within a small company, and general knowledge of the production industries would be advantageous but not essential. An interest in creative arts, film and animation is also preferred.

  • Execute diplomacy and sensitivity at all times
  • Effective time-management, prioritising of tasks and working well under pressure
  • An excellent telephone manner, with the ability to take and deliver accurate messages
  • IT literate, highly competent with both MAC and PC platforms
  • Microsoft Office competency
  • Photoshop, Keynote or Indesign type experience handy but not essential
  • Careful petty cash and credit card handling

Salary commensurate with experience.
