We are looking for an intelligent, experienced and ambitious art director or designer with illustration/animation experience to work with us on a freelance basis. Someone who is obsessed by how illustration and technology can be used to create more characterful and engaging products and tools and wants to apply this thinking for brands.

For this role you will need to have extensive experience creatively leading projects, with conceptual and strategic thinking and commissioning illustration for brands. You will have extensive experience working closely with illustrators and animators to develop their work, confident writing briefs, reviewing work in progress and giving clear direction across multiple collaborators.

You will be the creative lead on projects working with and managing a core creative team. Rarely presented with a fully-formed brief you will be expected to work collaboratively with our team and our clients to help untangle their issues and define a plan moving forward. You will then work alongside specialists from varied disciplines, from illustrators and animators to technologists and designers, guiding and directing their work to achieve the highest quality outcomes.
