We’re on the hunt for a new Digital Designer who can get to grips with our irreverent, yet friendly in house style and hit the ground running. You’ll need to be creative, versatile and a little bit playful to take the reins and help develop our e-commerce website, online brand, campaigns and general user experience.

You’ll be joining our ever-talented in-house creative team, where you can put your energy to use in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a great opportunity to make your mark in a company that has a big personality and a real passion for what we do.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weekly updates to our website and digital promotional materials
  • Ensuring design meets business objectives as stated in creative briefs
  • Providing direction to developers when it’s needed and being proactive in QA processes
  • Keeping up to date with technology and putting it to use where appropriate
  • Liaising effectively with the wider team to get the best possible results
  • Managing project timescales, working to strict deadlines and budget requirements
  • Ensuring quality and preparing deliverables for handoff to developers and project owners

Skills and Experience:
  • Proven industry experience
  • Strong creative design skills and conceptual ideas 
  • Strong ability to write and edit HTML and CSS
  • Experience creating responsive, user centric-designs for mobile and desktop
  • Good working knowledge of interactivity and the Web
  • Solid working knowledge of the latest versions of applicable programs – Mac OS, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure
  • Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with other creative types
  • Willingness to think at a conceptual level and present rationale for design choices
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • A strong portfolio of quality digital design work 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong teamwork ethic 
  • Bachelor’s degree in design-related discipline: Interaction, Graphic, Web or Interface Design or equivalent commercial experience within industry

Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of email design and coding
  • An understanding of UX principles and usability/accessibility best practice for the web
