StudioXAG require a knowledgeable and well-organised project manager to join our team in East London.

StudioXAG specialise in art direction, design and fabrication for retail environments. With projects ranging from show-stopping bespoke installations and pop-up shops to global window roll-outs, we take pride in executing all of our work to the highest standard.

Our suitable candidate would be joining a medium-sized team in a challenging, exciting and creative environment. We are looking for someone with experience working within a creative production studio, ideally within retail design and build. The candidate would be the client's key contact from initial brief through to installation ensuring that projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Managing budgets and finances for multiple projects at one time
  • Liaising with internal production teams and outsourced suppliers
  • Ensuring schemes are produced and delivered on time
  • Creating coherent and thorough project timelines and schedules
  • Exhaustive and detailed costing, adhering to agreed budgets
  • Consistent quality control of output from both in-house and outsourced suppliers

Our ideal project manager must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years previous experience working in a retail design/production studio
  • An ability to run multiple projects simultaneously and independently
  • An understanding of how to build and manage complex budgets
  • Time management skills, along with an organised and methodical nature
  • An understanding of manufacturing techniques and materials, with a technical knowledge of how things are made

The candidate would be working with our design and production teams, and external producers to ensure every stage of the project is well communicated and is running smoothly.
