We are Karmarama. We reframe brands for an ever-changing modern world. We do this by combining creative excellence with technology-led solutions. It means we can help clients with their business challenges now, and plan for their business opportunities next. It's a more progressive, more effective way of working.

Our Creative Futures team sits within Karmarama but creates a unique blend of brand, service design, technology and business consultancy skills from across the Accenture Interactive family. It focusses those skills to concept, prototype, pilot and scale new product and services for the UK's leading brands.

Together, we will:

  • Have specific opportunities to use our craft to make a difference in people's lives.
  • Engage in ongoing activities that enable us to learn, practice, and evolve our discipline.
  • Collaborate on products and services that change the way we do business.

And we're growing at an amazing rate. Which is where you come in; we're currently looking for a UX Lead.

As a UX Lead, you will:

  • Be responsible for the quality of all deliverables across a variety of projects.
  • Be a hands-on design expert, shaping the concept and seeing it through to detailed design and implementation across a variety of devices and platforms.
  • Communicate and envision service concepts and ideas using methods & tools that illustrate all the components and touch-points of the service.
  • Inspire innovative approaches to design, using creative facilitation techniques and taking the lead at client meetings, internal company meetings and external design events.
  • Encourage innovative approaches to design techniques, enabling the design team to embrace different angles to a design problem.
  • Balance the client's business needs with human needs.
  • Create design briefs based on project proposals and client feedback.
  • Be a Storyteller. A critical element of all our roles is to deliver insights about people and behaviour - verbally and visually - in a way that generates empathy, emotion, and engagement from the client and design team.
  • Embrace and harness new technologies.

It would be great if you have/are:

  • Demonstrable lead-level experience delivering design solutions for various clients as well as strong leadership experience.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience across the User Experience discipline.
  • Have an understanding of how user research should be integrated in to a project.
  • Have strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strategic. Many projects will involve strategic thinking based upon the insights gathered from the field. Thus, business, brand, and/or strategic experience are desirable.
  • Personable. Whether observing or interviewing customers, or working with fellow team members and clients, a UX Lead requires a natural skill to engage with people at a deep level.
  • Experience owning a project vision, execution, quality and client relationship.
  • Experience being highly accountable for design quality and project delivery.
  • Experience with concepting and ideation.
  • Workshop planning and facilitation skills.
  • Experience of iterative prototyping.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to respond positively and calmly to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
  • Have a strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Impeccable personal time management.
  • Planning and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a design-related discipline.

Why us? Well, we believe it's nice to:

  • Design and build products, not campaigns
  • Be appreciated
  • Work on a variety of products, across platform and device
  • Know that you can grow and develop your skills
  • Work with friendly, talented people
  • Have a great work/life balance
  • Work collaboratively
  • Work hard because you want to, not because you have to

Be rewarded well with nice Benefits, such as

  • Health & Wellbeing - Eye Care, Subsidised Gym Membership, Yoga Classes, Private Medical Insurance and Wellbeing Week
  • Wealth - A Competitive salary, Pension, Cycle to Work scheme, Season Ticket Loan and Childcare Vouchers
  • Time Off - 25 days' Holidays, Birthday Bonus and Summer Fridays
  • Development - Bespoke Development Programme, Inspirational Speaker sessions and Mentoring Programmes
  • Eating, Drinking, Being Merry - An onsite Chef, Tuesday and Thursday "Tea Times", Bar Nights, Annual Ski Trip and an actual office Sweet Shop
  • and many many more
