As a UX Designer, you will:

  • Apply conceptual thinking to create world-class digital services across multiple platforms, smartly bringing together user needs, business goals and technical realities. 
  • Develop sound UX concepts, including the definition of human needs, the creation of personas, storyboards/scenarios, journeys, use cases and content requirements. 
  • Translate complex systems into clear design definition. 
  • Create instant tangibility for the team and the client through storytelling and presentation of work, ranging from paper sketching concepts to prototyping interactions and screen flows.
  • Define the User Interface Design through and interactions through detailed wireframes, user flows, information architecture and in-depth content knowledge. 
  • Create lightweight specifications and style guides to supplement prototypes for our implementation partners 
  • Work directly with people to design end-to-end experiences using participatory and iterative design techniques including observational studies customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of qualitative and to uncover insights, learn about user behaviour and verify design thinking. 
  • Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually 
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented 
  • Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that includes other designers, program management, business and brand strategists and software developers.
  • Embrace and harness new technologies.

It would be great if you have/are:

  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge and experience of user interface design with consumer applications. 
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with customers, along with cross-functional teams including visual design, development, product management, and user research. 
  • Proficient knowledge of design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch, InVision, Proto.io, Photoshop and Illustrator, or alternatives.
  • Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, etc) 
  • Knowledge of web-based technologies and their impact on the feasibility of design solutions, including the capabilities and limitations of Web technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of design processes and methodologies, including Agile. 
  • The ability to cope with fast-paced environments. 
  • The ability with and work within dynamic multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation). 
  • Organised, analytical, and adaptable. 
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Impeccable personal time management.
  • Planning and analytical skills.
