Job purpose


  • This role is responsible for assisting the editorial team in all day-to-day tasks. The Editorial Intern attends weekly editorial meetings and ensures that all magazines and clippings are distributed to the relevant contributors and PRs. The Editorial Intern liaises with PRs to call in high-resolution imagery to tight deadlines, helps to arrange interviews and supports the editorial team in writing copy, coordinating with designers and the production team.
  • Occasionally, the role will require supporting the management team in the preparation of pitch materials.
  • The role reports to Production Team and Editorial team.

Main tasks and responsibilities


  • Working closely with the Group Editor, Editorial Project Manager and Assistant Editor plus Production and Design Team 
  • Essential relations/communications between FMS Global Media and relevant PRs (sourcing any missing contacts as and where necessary) to achieve best quality options for photography, delivered on deadline.
  • Contributing thoroughly researched image credits, pricing information, copy and editorial ideas to the editorial team as requested.
  • Keeping on top of personal to-do list and communicating any challenges or obstacles to the Editorial Project Manager.
  • Processing and imputing of data to the database for contributors across copy, photography and PR.
  • Ensures that all magazines and clippings are distributed on publication.

• Motivated and reliable with a high level of attention to detail.
• A can-do, diligent approach and a positive, friendly, team-oriented outlook is essential.
• Excellent writing skills, a solid grasp of grammar and a good eye for luxury brands across all sectors – fashion, motoring, hospitality and culture - is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills with a flexible but proactive approach to work
• Demonstrable commitment to achieving high quality work

• Able to stay calm under pressure and eager to learn.
