We are looking for a Business Development Person to join the General Manager and Creative Director in the London office of our Cannes-awarded Parisian production company.

The role is split in two parts : as a founding member of the UK team you will be expected to help shape the culture of the studio, the leadership style and eventually grow and lead a department. In the next 18 months, you will focus purely on revenue growth in our target markets (EU and US) in that you will define, and act as the primary executor of, both short and long term commercial strategies that will help us smash monthly quotas.

To achieve rapid growth you will be enabled to work from anywhere (your home, your favourite coffee shop, a beach in Barcelona - you choose). You will receive a company mobile, laptop and your preferred working tools like Linkedin Premium and Slack, Every House membership with gym access included, an entertainment and travel allowance and a compensation package with uncapped commission. You will also be allocated a dedicated desk at WeWork Old Street until a more permanent premises has been found at a more central location.

You will be an entrepreneur in residence at makemepulse and as such, you will be responsible for all parts of the sales process. From the conceptual like pricing strategies and market fit, to the practical, like identifying leads, creating targeted email campaigns and leading pitches in collaboration with any of the 20 talented souls in Paris studio.

You will have a sizeable network of relevant business contacts already that match our current client profile of ad agency producers, creatives, technologists and innovation leaders as well as brand marketing managers and executives. A large portion of your network sits inside experience industries like FMCG, Luxury Fashion, Travel and Gaming. From proven experience, you can exploit your contacts through an assortment of methods to fill the pipeline; through skilled prospection, you will bring in groundbreaking and innovative projects that leverage emerging technologies like Ai, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and interactive 3D (WebGL). You will also take the lead when it comes to our current client roster, using your experience to disrupt and develop our offer to maximise those relationships.

You know the key to success in this role is your ability to uncover and understand business problems, listen and be nice. You have no interest or enthusiasm to simply sell shit.
