About you

You care about the serious stuff and you’re really nice! You’re conscientious, tight on budgets & timings and detail-oriented, but you also love to understand and challenge the client brief, the issue at hand and be creative. 

You’ll bring a unique enthusiasm to the workplace that will be infectious to both our clients and the rest of the team. You’ll also have the courage to make tough decisions and be ambitious about our projects and what we can deliver to our clients.

1. Client Management

Developing good working relationships with our clients means that they will trust us to deliver great work, and keep them coming back for more. It’s important that we have great producers who find it easy to create these kind of relationships from the off.

What you’ll do:

  • You will be the first point of contact for your clients at Nice and Serious.
  • You will build great relationships with your clients.
  • You will take part in client meetings and where necessary, lead the discussions.
  • You will keep our clients up-to-date with project timings, deliverables and money.
  • You will be the clients’ eyes and ears internally through the duration of the project.

2. Project Management

In order for us to operate efficiently, we need to make sure we run a tight ship. This means being on top of projects so they don’t overrun. It also means having a studio that’s well organised, so we’re getting the absolute most out of the hours in the day.

What you’ll do:

  • You will be relay feedback from the client to the team, and vice versa.
  • You will be produce project schedules with key delivery milestones.
  • You will create quotes & invoices, managing budgets using time
  • management software.
  • You will update your line manager on the project status in weekly catch ups.
  • You will produce Scope of Work documentation and client contracts.
  • You will help manage the studio resources.
  • You will write briefs and be responsible for making sure the project team have
  • everything they need to begin work.
  • You will be in charge of handing over all deliverables once the project ends.

3. Creative and strategic input

In a small agency everyone needs to be creative - it’s one of our values. We very much live by the philosophy that nobody is as creative as all of us. We expect everyone to be engaged in the content of the project and passionate about producing the best possible creative.

What you’ll do:

  • You'll take part in brainstorms and help come up with creative ideas.
  • You’ll work with the Strategy Director to find the best way to answer the project brief and who the best team is to do it.
  • You’ll look at client feedback through the strategic and creative lens we’ve selected and respond to the client with the help of the directors.
  • You’ll help the team understand the client's problems so they’re able to use their skills to answer the brief.
  • You will make sure, along with the Strategy and Creative Director, that the project stays on brief throughout the production.
