The Fold are looking for an ambitious Graduate/Junior Graphic Designer Intern, with an interest in luxury fashion, for a paid part-time position. Reporting into the Art Director, this a unique opportunity to be part of a successful fashion brand, contributing to the elevation of the brand’s visual communication through print, online, VM and social media.


The Fold is a unique clothing brand founded on the belief that women should love the clothes they wear to work each day. The brand is known for beautiful, indulgent, flattering pieces and is fast becoming the go-to for workwear and smart event dressing for today’s professional women. The Fold are now at an exciting stage in the brand’s growth strategy with the recent launch of the new flagship store in Chelsea, London.


The role:


• Support the Art Director in driving the brand’s creative, from BAU online tasks to concepts for new season.
• Help establish email and online page templates based on new brand guidelines.
• Prepare artwork/imagery for upload to web, email, social.
• Prepare artwork for print, including look book and direct mailers.
• Develop campaign assets into online display ads.
• Maintain image library and help shape asset management as the brand grows.
• Create weekly visual calendar of key marketing assets for sign off – email, social, web.
• Help generate ideas and research for adhoc and bespoke design projects, including marketing stories and social content.


Required skills:


• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; indesign, photoshop, illustrator on Mac OS.
• Ability to design for online content.
• Able to take on new ideas and direction with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong creative flair and high taste levels; attention to detail an absolute must.
• Natural interest and knowledge in luxury graphic design / fashion / editorial / art.
• Ability to prepare artwork for print.
• Ability to react quickly and efficiently to last minute briefs, and to manage own workload, adhering to deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with in-house, creative agencies or design agencies preferable but not essential.
• Knowledge and competency with HTML5 , CSS, PHP, JavaScript, CMS, Wordpress, Mailchimp a huge bonus but not essential.
• Support all areas of the business PR, Design/Production, Showroom and Marketing.


Suitability:


• This is an entry level intern role that will suit a Graphic Design student or graduate looking for a flexible, creative role within an established fashion brand.
• 3 days per week.
• Your portfolio should demonstrate evidence of print and digital design and reflect your design interests/skills.



Salary


£900/month pro rata, 3 days per week.
