Wild Island Films

Based: London
Level: Mid-Weight
Salary: Undisclosed
Contract: Full Time
Applications Close: 19 April 2018
Job Listing Added: 21 March 2018

Founded in 2014, Wild Island Films is an independent, full service video production house based in East London. Creating dynamic fashion films and digital content for leading global brands, our unique aesthetic is tailored to the individual requirements of both our customer and consumer. Our goal is to offer each brand a personalised end to end service, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
Collaborating with a roster of directors and creatives, our strength is through nurturing relationships, enabling brands to present the best possible version of their vision.
The business has gone from strength to strength since its beginning, with continuous plans for growth and expansion in 2018, supported by an extended client base, long term investments and an increasingly diverse range of work and projects.

We are looking for a creative producer to join the team in a full time role, based in our London Fields studio. Reporting directly into the management team and with a focus on producing and overseeing projects including brand films, TV ads and digital projects - the roles and responsibilities will include the below:

● Day to day account management of all major clients and projects.
● Developing and scheduling a wide range of shoots, both in the UK and internationally from initial creative and concept to post production and delivery.
● Quoting on jobs, as well as negotiating and maintaining budgets per project.
● Continuous client communication, and all necessary organisation and administration, with a focus on maintaining and developing client relationships.
● On set production.
● Sourcing and booking freelance assistants, shoot teams, directors and editors, as well as managing contracts for staff/crew needed for shoots and production jobs.
● Kit hire and international carnets when necessary.
● Organising transport and logistics for jobs.
● Developing post production schedules.
● Assisting in management of post production workflow.
● Liaising with Finance Manager to ensure all jobs are invoiced correctly with job numbers, PO’s and details.

The ideal candidate will have a relaxed manner and positive attitude, and be as adept working as part of a team, as taking on a solo project. Taking responsibility for leading and collaborating on projects from start to finish, the applicant should have the confidence and ability to deal with clients and their requests, and to work on jobs without continuous supervision. With a strong focus and work ethic, the applicant must be efficient and highly organised, with a meticulous eye for detail. Working in a small team results often in varied job tasks and responsibilities, and it would be expected that the applicant be able to adapt to the varying requirements of each job. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to grow with an expanding business and have direct ownership and impact on a wide range of projects.

Fashion film experience is beneficial but not necessary.

Salary and benefits are competitive, and based upon the applicant’s experience.
